A group of chemistry students from Lorestan University visited the province's petrochemical plant.

A group of chemistry students from Lorestan University, under the supervision of Dr. Seyed Peyman Hashemi, visited various departments of Lorestan Petrochemical Company.
According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, these students visited various departments of Lorestan Petrochemical Company, including the polyethylene production section, purification, power plant, production and packaging of granules, as well as the HSE department.
During this visit, experts from the Lorestan Petrochemical Company provided comprehensive explanations regarding the products of this industry and issues related to the importance of observing safety precautions in this complex to the visitors.
The purpose of this visit, which was organized in coordination with the Industry and Entrepreneurship Relations Group of the university, was to familiarize chemistry students with one of the most important industries in Lorestan province in order to create motivation in them and also to strengthen the relationship between industry and the university.
Another important objective of this visit was to familiarize students with safety equipment and the need to observe safety precautions in the work environment and laboratory.
The visit took place from 9 am to 12 pm.
The Industry and Entrepreneurship Relations Group of Lorestan University is a subset of the Community and Entrepreneurship Relations Management of Lorestan University, affiliated with the Vice-Chancellor for Research and Technology of this university.
Lorestan Petrochemical Company is located on the Khorramabad to Chegeni road.
Polyethylene production is one of the main activities of Lorestan Petrochemical Company.
