Female faculty members of Lorestan University's Faculty of Chemistry were honored on the occasion of Women's Week.

On the occasion of Women's Week and Mother's Day, the women of the Faculty of Chemistry, Lorestan University were honored.

According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, on Sunday, January 7th, with the presence of Dr. Ali Nazari, President of Lorestan University, Dr. Mohsen Rashidi, Director of the President's Office of Lorestan University, Dr. Misagh Heydari, Advisor to the President of the University on Women's and Family Affairs, Dr. Abedin Zebardasti, Dean of the Faculty of Chemistry, and Majid Tavousi, Director of Public Affairs of the Faculty of Chemistry, the employed women of the Faculty of Chemistry, Lorestan University were honored.

Attention to accurate statistics for improving the budgeting system

Dr. Ali Nazari, President of Lorestan University, in his speech at this event, while commemorating Women's Week and offering condolences on the occasion of the terrorist incident in Kerman, said: "In order to solve the financial problems of the university and its faculties, the budgeting system must be improved based on accurate statistics, numbers, and figures of needs."

Dr. Nazari explained: "The statistics should not be different from each other; rather, the statistical system of the university and the faculties should be accurate so that budgeting and the follow-up of budget affairs are based on accurate statistics."

He stated: "The heads of the faculties should pay special attention to the issue of accurate statistics in all aspects of the faculties' work."

The President of Lorestan University asked the faculty members of various faculties of Lorestan University to provide solutions to reduce the problems of the university, considering their specializations, and to provide more scientific assistance to the university's management team in solving problems.

Women are decision-makers in the discourse of the Islamic Revolution

The Advisor to the President of Lorestan University on Women's and Family Affairs, in his speech at this event, while commemorating Women's Week and offering condolences on the terrorist incident in Kerman, said: "In the discourse of the Islamic Revolution, women are decision-makers and are not just ornaments of gatherings."

Dr. Misagh Heydari explained: "The Supreme Leader in his recent speech made very pivotal and important points about the position of women and that serious responsibilities are placed on a woman as the axis of life and even as a human being who plays an important role in human development, and this shows the importance that Islam, the discourse of the Islamic Revolution, and the guidance of the Imams of the Revolution give to the position and status of women."

Dr. Heydari added: "The working approach of the Office of Women's and Family Affairs of Lorestan University has been to make the efforts of the women of Lorestan University more visible, and of course, if there has been any shortcomings on the part of the Office of Women's and Family Affairs of Lorestan University, I apologize."

In this program, Dr. Abedin Zebardasti, Dean of the Faculty of Chemistry, Lorestan University, also in a short speech, congratulated the employed women of the Faculty of Chemistry, Lorestan University on the occasion of Women's Week and commemorated the memory of the martyrs of the terrorist incident in Kerman.

Dr. Zebardasti presented a general report on the current situation of the Faculty of Chemistry, Lorestan University, and the work activities of the women of this faculty.
