The Third Meeting on Expanding Cooperation between the Lorestan University Faculty of Chemistry and the Karbala University Faculty of Basic Sciences was held.

The third meeting of the Lorestan University Chemistry Faculty with the Basic Sciences Faculty of the University of Karbala was held virtually, in line with the continuation of bilateral collaborations.
According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, this meeting was held with the presence of Dr. Abedin Zebardasti, Head of the Chemistry Faculty of Lorestan University, and a group of faculty members of this faculty.
In this meeting, Dr. Hamida Eidan Sa'dan, Head of the Basic Sciences Faculty of the University of Karbala, in her speech, explained the capacities of the Chemistry Department and the Basic Sciences Faculty of the University of Karbala.
She called for the expansion of cooperation between the Chemistry Department of the University of Karbala and the Chemistry Faculty of Lorestan University.
Dr. Abedin Zebardasti, Head of the Chemistry Faculty of Lorestan University, also provided explanations regarding the strengthening of the implementation strategies for the full provisions of the cooperation memorandum of understanding between Lorestan University and the University of Karbala.
Preparing and publishing joint articles, admitting students with an emphasis on Master's and Doctoral programs, offering courses required by the Chemistry Department of the University of Karbala by the Chemistry Faculty of Lorestan University, inviting faculty members of the Chemistry Faculty of Lorestan University to visit the Chemistry Department of the University of Karbala, and continuing such joint meetings in the future were among the most important topics discussed in the recent meeting.
Also, the faculty members of the Chemistry Faculty of Lorestan University expressed their views in this meeting with the aim of increasing bilateral collaborations.
Currently, 22 students from Iraq are studying at the Chemistry Faculty of Lorestan University.
