New Chemistry Department entrants at Lorestan University became acquainted with the faculty and professors.

The introductory ceremony for new students in the Pure and Applied Chemistry programs at Lorestan University was held on December 1, 1404, organized by the Chemistry Scientific Association of the university in the Shahid Alireza Faraji Hall of the Faculty of Basic Sciences.
According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, this ceremony was held with the presence of a group of faculty members, members of the scientific association, and newly-admitted students, with the aim of familiarizing the new students with the university environment, educational structure, and scientific and cultural activities.
Initially, the ceremony began with the recitation of the Quran and the playing of the national anthem, followed by speeches by the Dean of the Faculty, the heads of the Pure and Applied Chemistry departments, and several faculty members, regarding the importance of chemistry, the research capacities of the faculty, and future career paths in this field.
Subsequently, the Chemistry Student Scientific Association presented a report on its activities in the past year, including the holding of specialized workshops, scientific competitions, industrial visits, and student meetings, and outlined the planned programs for the new year.
Various and joyful parts of the ceremony, such as the performance of group competitions, conducting exciting experiments, showing a clip introducing the faculty, and taking commemorative photos, were among other parts of the program that were welcomed by the new students.
In the final part of the ceremony, the winners of the student competitions were introduced and honored with awards; also, gifts were presented to all newly-admitted students.
The purpose of holding the ceremony was to provide a suitable and motivational environment based on hope for the future for the newly-admitted students.
