Another Step Forward in Lorestan University's Progress / Order Issued for the Establishment of the Faculty of Chemistry

Dr. Ali Nazari issued the order to establish the Faculty of Chemistry at Lorestan University, a long-standing and important demand of the faculty members and staff of the university's Chemistry Department, the establishment of which had been approved by the Board of Trustees of Lorestan University, and the responsibility for launching this faculty was assigned to Dr. Abedin Zebardasti (with the academic rank of Full Professor of Inorganic Chemistry). Thus, the Chemistry Department of Lorestan University was upgraded to a faculty.

According to the Public Relations Department of Lorestan University, the Chemistry Department of Lorestan University, with a history predating the transformation of the Lorestan Higher Education Complex into Lorestan University, and with the current capacity of more than 30 scientific staff (faculty and staff), approximately 600 students currently enrolled, and more than 2,400 graduates at various levels of Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral degrees, and educational and research facilities and equipment in the form of 4 up-to-date educational and research groups, is the oldest educational department since the creation of higher education capacity in Lorestan province.

The scientific staff and prominent and renowned professors have placed this department among the top scientific and research collections in the country.

The scientific and research activities of the Chemistry Department of Lorestan University also have commendable credibility and authority in international scientific forums. The collection of potential and actual capacities of this section of the university required it to be upgraded to the level of a faculty in order to benefit from its capabilities and merits at a higher level.

Although this demand was realized in previous years, it was not put into practice and remained at the level of the establishment permit and the approval of the structure by the Board of Trustees of Lorestan University.

Now, by the grace of God and thanks to the establishment of the thirteenth government, which is a government of Jihad and the people, another example of this government's belief in "We can" and the directives of the Supreme Leader (may God protect him), the belief in the capabilities of the children of Islamic Iran was realized at Lorestan University, and the order to establish the Faculty of Chemistry at Lorestan University was issued by the respected President of the University, Dr. Nazari, and the responsibility for launching and following up on related matters was assigned to Professor Abedin Zebardasti, from the esteemed family of martyrs and a professor of inorganic chemistry.

While congratulating the faculty members, administrative and educational staff of the Faculty of Chemistry and wishing further success for the Faculty of Basic Sciences with its new arrangement, we congratulate and salute this worthy and valuable step in the path of development and expansion of Lorestan University to all university members of the province and the scientific community of the country.
